Little White Hare - a hand stitched collage made from my little lino cuts printed on Irish linen.
There are many stories in Irish folklore about hares and many songs too in traditional music. One of my favourite hare songs is the "Creggan White Hare." (Daoirí Farrell does a great version of this one)
I use different types of linen, some very old, to make my collages. I sew the pieces together by hand using a variety of stitches and embroidery techniques.
Each collage is unique.
